Why is modstock restricked to cast iron intakes on motoramma rules, why not allow them to run dual plain aluminum and with Holley 4412 restriction.?.... Aluminum is easier to find and less costly.

Changing Rules?

Any time that you think about changing rules in any class, you must consider the cars that are already built. There were 36 Modified Stock cars registered this year, how would a rule change effect those guys? Also any rule changes that are made need to move a class closer to the rules of the same class at other race tracks. Street Stock (our Modified Stock) is the hardest class, in our area, to make rules for because the race tracks in East Texas have different rules. I have been talking to David Riley at Lufkin and Basil at Cleveland about Street Stock and I will continue to work on this. The Modified Stock drivers at Motorama always put on a very good race.
