I think you would get more interest than you might think on the weekly practice idea. Having run around the Dallas area dirt tracks for a few years, I know you can find a place to get some seat time. It sure made it nice breaking in a new engine, testing set-up changes, etc. Cowtown would practice every Wednesday starting at 5 until dark (no lights used). Grand Prairie also used to practice on a weekly basis. They charged $10 to run your car. What a bargain! Even if it were just every other week, that would be an improvement.
