HELMET CLARIFICATION

First let me apologize about the confusion.  The helmet ruling is as follows:

For Limiteds and Modifieds:  A SA2000 or newer (thus SA 2000, SA 2005, SA 2008 [when they come out] are legal ONLY.  This is per USMTS ruling and for your safety.)  The M2000 or M anything is a Motorcycle rating and not allowed in the modifieds or limiteds.

For Jr Mini, Pure Stock, Hobby Stock, Street Stock:  Any other snell rating SA90 or newer including the M or SA certification is legal.  After 2008, the Snell Rating must be 2000 or greater, thus SA2000 or M2000.

Yes, you are legal, unless you are in a limited or a modified.  However, for '09, you will have to update to at least a SA2000 or newer helmet.  I hope this helps.  Again that helmet is only legal for anything under a limited, basically the full-bodied cars per Glen.
