I like the 2 barrel as long as all the other cars run it too. It seems easier to adjust than the q-jet and not that I know alot of tricks,,it seems there arent as many for the 2 barrel. There's lots of benefit to the q-jet, and I will run either one,,,but it would be nice to have a rule stated and then followed about the carbs...if we can't do this, then lets change the name of the RULES to the "If you wouldn't minds",,,,lol....I prefer the 2 barrel.....

this is only my 2nd full year of racing and i like the 2brl better than the 4brl cause the way i was driving till i really got the hang of feathering the gas with the 2brl i could drive better cause i was flat footing it out of the curves and it would just go but with the 4brl when i would do that when the 4brls kicked in it would break my tires loose and make me spin out cause i was gettin in the gas to quick

I dont know to much about when the last one was made. I have a book that I can look in and come up with all cast #'rs and stuff like that. I am sure there are people who are going to like one or the other. But, from my point the 2 barrel is easiest to deal with.

buster we run the p/s 123 car we like the holley 350 carb beats spending 400 to 600 on a q-jet
and easey to tech -glen has a stock carb he set on the table and you pull the metering block off
and maches them up and some rods cut to slid in the air and fuel channels. we ran that car with same carb
at 105 first race of this year and won we ran battleground to.carb realley pulls good off the turns

4. Carburetor: NO adjustable adapters or spacers. A Holly 350 Carburator (Part # 0-7448 or Holley rebuilt #65-7448) is the ONLY carburator allowed. Removal of the choke flap is the only modification allowed. Ram air or forced induction NOT allowed.
5. Any brand, style or size air cleaner is allowed, but no type of RAM air or forced air induction will be allowed
read the rules,,,,there are other changes than just this one.,,,,
