Hey there,
I am new to Houston and looking for a track to race at:
We come from South Georgia where I race a hobby class on a 1/2 mile asphalt track: So what options do I have there?
My son who is 12 years old races a 4cyl. ministock class on dirt.The track he ran this year was a 1/3mile dirt track. He races a mustang that is bone stock. So where can he run. I know lots of tracks back home wont let kids run until they are 14.
Any input on either of these topics would be greatly appreciated.

i KNOW AT THIS TRACK HE CAN RACE 4 CYL. BETWEEN THE AGE OF 12-16. YOU CAN CHECK OUT THE RULES IN THE "RULES" SECTION. AS FAR AS THE ASPHALT??? CANT HELP YOU THERE.

i dont know if it is still in houston or not. the track is called Big H. it was changed to asphalt years ago. i dont know if it is still up and running.

The class i looked into has 8" wheel rule and stock motors........ Look up James Huff in Humble Texas just north of Houston. He can help you with all the needs for the class. Real nice guy.... Would make the jusmp but dont want to give the motor!!!!!

What about running a camaro. I have not seen anywhere you can run a camaro in a purestock or hobby stock class..

Golden Triangle Speedway has the only 4 cylinder junior mini class that starts at age 12 and goes up to 16 around this area. Located in Beaumont not far from Houston. Would like to see him race there and help grow the class.

Would love to..The family has not moved out here yet.probably going to be May or Jun before they do. Would love to come to the track and snoop around...LOL
