Considering I work on vehicles all week long...I work all night long fixing what gets torn up from the Friday before, plus 3 other cars in the pure stock class that got torn up. I don't think I need a college kid telling me I need to refrase anything!

first of all how did this go from being about street stock tooo pure stock.       and second just because on person comes over with a 4brrl why would u put on a 4 brrl when you already run at this track and own a 2 brrl...   but hey keep this up its getting kind of fun too watch all the grip about a $250 carb  that you could put on ebay and get some money back  heck i sold mine in no time on the classifieds......

Brad,

We know Glen has two carbs, maybe a couple of the guys have one over there (Houston area) your buddies could borrow.  Just trying to help figure out a way for you guys to come over.  I, personally, don't think he will go for the weight thing, he's pretty firm on the 2 barrel, however it never hurts to call and ask.

its also a legal pure stock minus the carb so why try to run in a class i could barely break the top 5.

Actually, Dirtworks52, it started with the last  post on "Car count in Pure Stock". Then, the pole came out about the 2brl/4brl so, I don't know how you got off on the street stocks.

If your talking about running a Hobby Stock car in the Pure Stock class, you've got more work to do than just changing the carbs. Our pure stock class don't run headers (hobby does). Pure stock body can't have gutted out trunks. Trunk lids must have stock inner brace. Hood must have stock inner bracing & same with roof of the car.
We also run a 60 series tire & no bead locks.

not wanting to see the class die out. i was wanting to see a change like there making in the street stock class to allow more cars to come to the area to race. just a suggestion not trying to ruffle any feathers.
FIRTS POST ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ON THIS TOPIC

well lets see  i think the word street stock is in this post   not PURE STOCK

I believe....the conversation started about a rumor that Glenn was going to drop the PS class if the car count didn't pick up. Brad1h said he didn't want to see the class (PS) die out. He wants to see them make the changes, that were made in the street stock class, to bring the car count up in the PS class. That's the way I understood the conversation . It began in the post about the PS class being cut. Brad1h said if Glenn would have a 4brl wknd he would see the class p/u. That's what brought on the pole about the carb's.
He also posted that his Hobby stock car is also a "PURE STOCK" car.
