Your right about the top 3 and sometimes the top 6....But, friday there were several cars named in the drivers meeting that were required to go to tech regaurdless of were they finished. And due to that special tech from what I heard there was a major turn over in the top 5 of the limiteds point standings buy one of the cars refusing to remove their head and lost their points for the entire year.

ANY CAR FOUND TO BE TECHNICALLY ILLEGAL WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY MONEY OR POINTS FOR THAT EVENT (NIGHT). A SECOND OFFENSE WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF MONEY FOR THAT EVENT AND POINTS ACCUMULATED FOR THE YEAR. A THIRD OFFENSE WILL RESULT IN THE DRIVER'S SUSPENSION FOR SIX (4) COMPLETED WEEKLY RACING SERIES EVENTS.
Those are the rules for illegal parts/car. I dont know what happens if you REFUSE to abide by tech. I haven't heard of that before. I did however see someone just go ahead and say "You got me" and he was dq'd that was a long time ago. I haven't seen an instance of someone refusing. I think it would be something that would require a stiff enough penalty so that bright idea wouldn't become the norm...

I think if you refuse Tech or get caught cheating you should lose all points and be suspended. Maybe I am being a Hard A$$. But it would eliminate the thought of cheating.

Teching would improve the car counts, Sabine Speedway at Many turned into a run what you brung track and the car counts are dropping.

st.stock38 has a point, before that car is allowed back it should be inspected for whatever was refused in the first place. I think that is in the rules....I looked and didn't see that written. I THINK it used to state if a car was illegal at tech it would have to be inspected prior to racing again.

Haulsas the only problem with that is if they refuse to tear down and go home, they can change whatever wasnt legal to begin with. I failure to tear down upon request should automatically result in disqualification and loss of ALL points. What other reason would anyone refuse to be teched if they were legal. The three other cars tore their cars down. Be FIRM!!!

If you refuse a tear down you should lose all points for the year and money for the night. the cheating has got way out of hand in this class .i say good job Glen for teching like you did because cheating is stealing Johnny Arthur
