dig up the old 98 99 stock car rules (before they allowed the late model bodies and 3 links) and make them the rules. Best class ever.

ALUMINUM BODIES WILL MAKE US LOOK LIKE THE OLD SUPER STOCKS AND THE CARS WILL LOOK GOOD.WE WILL ALSO SAVE $$$ WITHOUT BUYING A WING AND CHANGING OUR SET UPS..RIGHT? IF WE ARE JUST GOING FOR LOOKS THIS WILL BE THE WAY TO GO.

I havent checked yet, but what does an alum. body cost? and how much of a weight difference is it? I know i heard the difference in the hoods and deck lids ( cause some ARE running them), but what about the entire body. The way i look at it, is kinda like voting in politics, you just go to the polls and make your selection and live with it. If i dont like the change, I can switch classes(sell car and buy another one) or switch tracks(carry my arse elsewhere) or give it up( sell out and buy me a boat). I say we put a RED 1 in front of our numbers, that would be different, as if the those 10 inch tires dont give it away. JUST MY 02 cents

I think allowing the late model style performance bodies would be a step in the right direction. There has always been something cool about that look. Plus, finding factory body parts for these cars and not spending a small fortune is getting more difficult. Yes the wings would change the look for cheaper then changing the whole body, but a LEGAL engine for this class just doesn't have the nuts to make a wing a real advantage. So, if it isn't an advantage then its just a barn door up there dragging wind....

I dont think late model bodys would be to good of a idea because this class already is getting closer to almost being latemodels minus the bodys!

I agree on the 4 beadlocks much eaiser to swap tires, alum. bodies would make a big change to the looks also. The wing will rob horsepower and make it diffcult to get in my shop without taking it off.
