TRACK RULES & REGULATIONS

The Kart Track  will strive  to maintain a Safe atmosphere. We will follow WKA rules; however, IKF motors are allowed to run with WKA restrictor plates where applicable.

All karts must have bodies:

Upon entering the racetrack, you will be given an armband to show that your entry fee (not driver’s fee) has been paid at the gate. Everyone entering the gates MUST wear the armbands. This policy will be strictly enforced. Failure to show proof of an armband will require you to pay an additional $10.00 at the gate.

Drivers will be responsible for their conduct and the conduct of all those associated with their team while at The Kart Track.

We will not tolerate any yelling at flag men or any track official at anytime. All official calls stand. You cannot protest an official call.

Profanity will not be tolerated. Again, this is a Family atmosphere.

NO Alcohol products in PITS Area!

Rough driving will not be tolerated. You will be disqualified (DQ).

All karts must pass pre-race inspection.

Helmets with face shield, neck brace, gloves and driving suit  <pants and  jacket> must be worn. No Exceptions.

All racers must be registered by the end of the alloted registration time or they will start in the back.

There will not be any refunds after 1st Heat race.

You must enter and exit the track SLOWLY.

We have a cold pit. Do not drive your kart anywhere in the pit area. No Exceptions.

The flag man will start the race somewhere in turn 4. Pole kart sets the pace, Flagman starts the race.
Please be patient on starts and restarts, the race is back to the finish line...  not the first turn.

Kart CAUSING the Caution will restart in the rear.  <this is not up for on track discussion>

No racing back to yellow. SLOW DOWN. During caution, stop karts at exit turn 4.  Await lineup and after instructions, move to entrance of turn 1  wait for lineup,  restart to follow.

The Black Flag will be awarded to any kart/driver or crew member displaying unsportsmanlike conduct, for rough driving, parts loss, or fluid loss on the track. You MUST see the tech official before you can re-enter the race.

All karts MUST go through scales after each heat and feature race. Kart shall have engine off and pushed across scales.

The track reserves the right to Tech at anytime.

All karts must have 4 legible numbers to be scored

All karts must have a back plate with legible number or they will not be scored

All protests must be made by a driver in that class before the kart leaves the Tech Area. Protest must be made within 10 minutes after the Feature. Protest will cost $60.00. If protested engine is legal, the owner/driver will receive $30.00 and the techman will receive $30.00. If protested engine is illegal, the owner/driver will lose points, money and trophy for that race. Protestor will be returned $60.00 and the track will retain $30.00 for the techman paid by the owner of the illegal motor. ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL. Drivers, not tech man, are responsible for disassembling and assembling the kart.

Any person in the pit area, who has evidence of substance abuse (beer, wine, drugs) or is seen using any substance during a race meet, will be barred from participating in racing activities.

Any person involved in a fight at the track will be told leave.

Bonfires will not be allowed in the pit area.

When you enter The Kart Track, please take a look around. This is a clean, well-groomed facility. You are responsible for keeping your racing pit area clean. There are numerous trash cans available on the property. PLEASE USE THEM.

Do not dump used oil on the ground. We have a waste oil drum –   PLEASE USE IT .

No 4 wheelers, golfcarts, pit bikes, etc. will be allowed at the racetrack. This is for everyone’s safety.  Also, please respect your neighbor’s pit area (no running in the pits and in others pit areas).
