Kart Numbers and Bolt on Weight and Safety Inspections

Please make sure your numbers are easily read. I can not stress this enough.
If you have any doubt, they are probably not.

Make them contrasting in color with a font easy to read.

If we can not read your numbers, you will not be scored.
All Karts will have numbers on both sides, front and rear of kart.

If we can not get these numbers legible I will make them black numbers on white plates only.

There were some karts out Saturday... with nice new bodies... but you cant read the numbers.

Bolt on Lead.

Please make sure all your lead is painted white with your kart number on it.
Make sure it is bolted securely and either double nutted or pinned.

Take the steps to insure this is done properly and safe.

If you lose a weight during a race for any reason, you will be black flagged.

This is a dangerous problem if they come loose, and we had our first weight come loose
Saturday. It was too much weight bolted on a homemade tab. The welded tab broke, causing both damage to
two karts and the kart being dqed.

During our first 2 playdays, we will be doing safety tech on the karts.
Make sure all bolts that need to be wired are.
Make sure everything that needs to be pinned is.

You will not be allowed on the track if safety sticker is not on your karts.
