HOBBY STOCK BIKE GIVE AWAY!!

The Hobby Stock class will be sponsoring a bike give away this Friday, July 3rd!  

Bicycles (20 or more) are being donated by the drivers, sponsors and friends....so be sure and let them know how much you appreciate them!  GTRP racers are the greatest!


Reminder:  There is a $5.00 charge for bringing coolers 18" or SMALLERwith canned beer only into the grandstands.  Please measure your cooler!


This Friday all the Golden Triangle Classes will race. 
It will be the last night to purchase the "Race for a Cure" t-shirts. 

They are $12 and all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

Presentation of the funds will be made to Jacki Burleson,

representive of the local ACS office next week, July 10. 

Thanks to all who have given so generously...we have reached the $4000 goal and hope to go over that amount with the final t-shirt sales.

FRIDAY, JULY 10 - RACE CAR RIDES FOR KIDS - (a fan favorite)


Rides are FREE but children must have a release form signed by a  parent or guardian.  You can click on "Forms" on this web site
and print out a copy so you can have it filled out in advance....

Forms are also available at the ticket booths....
If you have filled one out earlier this year, we have it on file. 

Must be dated '09!


JULY 17...ASCS SPRINTS RETURN


JULY 24...KETTL MEMORIAL RACE & 
                  BOX CAR RACES FOR KIDS (another great special event)

Kids make their own race cars out of cardboard boxes...design,paint, and number them as they please....The locomotion is provided by their feet....

But wait! Every driver has to have a pit crew...at least one adult must accompany each child onto the track because 1/2 into the race they will have to change tires (in this case shoes) before they can continue to the finish line.  Kids must wear tennis shoes.  Adults will take the kids shoes off and put them back on at the pit stop.  Officials will be watching...REALLY FUN!

So KIDS start buliding your "box" cars now!
